Buddy the Lab

Buddy is a 13-year-old, 63-pound male Black Lab mix with a heart as big as they come. He's a sweet boy who has spent his life being a loyal companion and is now looking for a gentle, loving home to spend his golden years.

Buddy is the definition of low maintenance. He's perfectly content with short strolls, cozy naps, and simply being near his person. His happiest moments are the quiet ones, resting by your side, soaking up affection, and offering that calm, comforting presence only a senior dog can provide. What Buddy needs most now is a soft place to land, a peaceful home and a kind human who will cherish him and keep him company. In return, he'll offer unwavering companionship, gentle affection, and a lifetime of love wrapped into his golden years.

Buddy came into rescue through no fault of his own. His devoted guardian recently moved into a nursing home and, heartbreakingly, can no longer care for him. Buddy is a little confused by all the change, but through it all, he remains incredibly sweet, trusting, and full of love to give.
