Meet Marvin – The Jackpot Pup!

Marvin is a 2-year-old, 55 lb mixed breed who is pure gold! Once abandoned and too scared to be touched, Marvin spent months keeping his distance in an Ennis neighborhood. But with patience and kindness, Marvin let his walls down. He blossomed into the most loyal, affectionate, and downright angelic pup you’ll ever meet. Marvin is calm, kind, and the definition of easygoing. His resilience and devotion will melt your heart. Whoever adopts him isn’t just getting a dog—they’re winning the love lottery.

Ideal Home

Marvin is kid-approved and friendly with cats, dogs, pigs, and likely any other creature you might have! He loves soft beds and soft hearts.

Ongoing Health

Marvin is fully vetted, neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm negative.

Training & Support

Marvin knows multiple commands, is crate trained, potty trained, and leash trained. He can outwit a standard wire crate but does really well in a Ruffland or Smonter kennel. Marvin underwent training with our Behavioral Director to improve his confidence and trust of new people. He comes with two complimentary training sessions (virtual or in person) with our Behavioral Director to help with his transition.

• After your phone screening, we can schedule a meet and greet or the start of your foster-to-adopt trial.
• All adoptions have a 2-week minimum foster-to-adopt trial to ensure the pet is the right fit for your home, and vice versa.
• Marvin's adoption fee is $250, due after the foster-to-adopt period.
