Dulce - Anatolian Great Pyrenees

Dulce is a friendly and playful Anatolian Shepherd/Great Pyrenees mix, estimated to be born in July 2023. She was found as a stray and is doing wonderfully after being treated for heartworm. Dulce sports a happy smile and the characteristic curled Anatolian tail. She enjoys being petted and brushed, rides well in vehicles, and keeps a clean kennel.

Ideal Home

Dulce needs a home with a securely fenced yard, as invisible fencing is not suitable for her breed. She must be an inside pet with outside privileges. Applicants must be over 25, own their own home, and all children in the household must be over 6 years old. Your resident pets must be up-to-date on vaccines, sterilized, have a good two-year vet care history, and have used year-round heartworm preventative, with proof of purchase.

Training & Support

Obedience training is recommended for all newly adopted Great Pyrenees to help build a strong bond and ensure good behavior. Great Pyrenees are independent thinkers and not always as eager to comply with commands as other breeds.

• We require you to complete the adoption application prior to meeting a dog.
• A $100 non-refundable deposit is required prior to taking the dog home.
• The adoption fee is $350.

Transportation

Dulce is available for adoption or fostering. We offer a foster-to-adopt program.
