Lane Boots is ready to fill your home with snuggles and love! This sweet girl is a champion couch potato and lives for belly rubs and ear scratches. She's an estimated 2-year-old, 50-pound bundle of affection, likely an American Pit Bull Terrier and Labrador mix. Lane is attentive, walks well on leash, and has excellent house manners. Her most striking features are her beautiful heterochromatic eyes, one blue and one brown, and her incredibly warm and friendly demeanor. She's a lovebug who thrives on interaction and is eager to be your forever best friend. Lane is known to look up and smile, showing off her adorable "little teefies," and she loves when you talk to her, always staying close by your side. She'll lean into you for pets and has a charming habit of sitting and looking up at you when you stop on a walk, asking for more affection.
Ideal Home
Lane would be a wonderful addition to any socially active household, big family, or extended friend group – the more, the merrier! She absolutely adores children and would love nothing more than to be a family dog, enjoying couch time, game nights, or simply doing nothing with you. She would also love a home with a yard for sunbathing and plenty of couch space, as that's her favorite spot. While Lane is cat-tolerant, she finds kitties very interesting, so it's probably best for her not to live with them, though she will be respectful of cats from across the street. She prefers calmer dogs and does well with small dogs, so a home with a stable, relaxed doggy sibling would be ideal.

Lane is a healthy girl who has received all necessary vetting, including vaccinations, spay/neuter, and preventative treatments.
Training & Support
Lane is a fast learner, motivated by food and affection, which will make training a rewarding experience. She already knows "sit" and is working on "lay down" and "roll over." She is respectful of rules and easy on leash. Our trainers have assessed and worked with Lane, providing her with individualized plans to prepare her for her future family, including crate training, potty training, and leash walking.

Transporation
Lane is currently in Texas. We facilitate adoptions across the US through our own internal transport. We travel to WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT and Canada (Canadian adopters will need to pick up in Bellingham, WA or Brattleboro, VT). Our pups travel in comfort with 24/7 care on our USDA licensed vehicles. An additional $87 surcharge applies for transport. All adoptions within Texas must be picked up from Friendswood, Tx.
