Hi there, my name is Dune! I'm part of the Desert litter, and while I had a rough start fending for myself in the New Mexico desert, I would never desert you! I'm so thankful to be rescued because I'm a super affectionate pup who loves being with humans. My foster dad can't get enough of my cuddles, and with my cute white face and chubby wrinkles, I'm sure to melt your heart too!
I'm still working on potty training, but I'm getting better every day. I'm happy to stay in my kennel during the workday and sleep through the night with my foster dad. I'm also learning to sit and stay, and I have a healthy appetite! I really enjoy chewing on toys, bones, socks, and hats – basically, anything I can get my mouth on, so a heads-up for my new family! I'm diligently working on my house manners, specifically with boundaries, as I can be a bit in-your-face and I'm learning not to jump on counters or people. I haven't met any small humans yet, but as a puppy, I love everyone! I have two doggy foster brothers, aged 1 and 10, who are also Pitbulls. I have a blast playing with my younger foster brother, but sometimes the older one isn't as keen on playing. I might do best in a home with another young dog or as the only pet. I haven't met any cats yet, but my playful nature suggests I might get along well with them. I'm a very good boy in search of a family who wants a playful, energetic pup to love as much as they'll be loved. With patience and training, I believe I'd make the perfect family dog.
