Neo

Neo is a roughly 5-6 year old, 70-pound Bully breed mix with a heart full of resilience. When he first arrived, he was sadly emaciated and suffering from pressure sores, a testament to past neglect and abuse. These experiences have left him with trust issues around new people, but with patience and kindness, he's healing. He's gained much-needed weight and is physically much healthier, though his emotional scars are still a work in progress.

Ideal Home

Neo would do best in a home where he can continue to build trust at his own pace. He is good with cats and can be with other dogs, though he does play rough and can be vocal with them.

Ongoing Health

Neo has fully recovered physically from his past, but he may still carry emotional scars.

Training & Support

Neo is very food motivated and gentle when taking treats. He knows "sit" and is learning "down." He is crate trained and house trained, with no issues around resource guarding. Once he trusts you, he enjoys chewing on his bone and occasional cuddle sessions. He is also muzzle trained.
