Prince

Prince is a magnificent 3-year-old Great Pyrenees, tipping the scales at a robust 130 pounds of pure Pyr. He embodies the classic Great Pyrenees spirit, always aware of his surroundings and taking his role as neighborhood watch very seriously. He feels it's his duty to alert you to the Amazon delivery driver, a scurrying squirrel, or a neighbor walking their dog – important work that he hopes you'll appreciate! Prince is a wonderful companion with his people, possessing a silly and fun-loving nature. He's also quite respectful of strangers. While Prince enjoys playtime, his bursts of energy are dramatic and brief, usually followed by a full-body collapse and a happily panting tongue.

Ideal Home

Prince needs adopters who truly understand and appreciate the Great Pyrenees breed and all its wonderful quirks. He requires a securely fenced yard and cannot be trusted off-leash. Teenagers and older would be the best fit for this big, magnificent guy.

Ongoing Health

Prince has selective hearing, only tuning into what aligns with his priorities.

Training & Support

Prince is not an obedience champion and is perfectly content with his independent and thoughtful nature, making his own decisions. He sheds, and he barks at things he sees – he is exactly what makes Great Pyrenees so famous! If you tell him he's been "B A D," he'll sulk and take it personally. He is housebroken and well-mannered in the home.
