Bailey 2

Bailey is a 7-year-old Maltese/Nippon Terrier mix who weighs 25 lbs. He's a bundle of energy with long legs, reminiscent of a gangly colt! Bailey is very affectionate and loves to give kisses, but he can be a bit mouthy and nippy when playing, which can be painful even though he doesn't intend to bite. He was surrendered because his previous owner wasn't prepared for the energy of a young puppy.

Ideal Home

Bailey would thrive in a home with a securely fenced-in backyard where he can safely expend his energy. He needs a home without children and would do best as the only dog, as he doesn't get along well with cats and is particular about the dogs he likes.

Ongoing Health

Bailey is up to date on all his vaccines, heartworm preventative, and flea preventative. He is also micro-chipped.

Training & Support

Bailey is generally house-trained and crate-trained. However, he does not enjoy grooming or nail trims and can growl and snap at strangers and new dogs when meeting them. This is why a fenced-in yard is essential.
