Ivy

Ivy was born on March 11, 2025, and was adopted at just 2 months old. Through no fault of her own, her family made the heartbreaking decision to rehome her this year. She went into a foster home and has been an absolute joy ever since. Now, we're searching for the loving forever family she truly deserves. Ivy is a happy, affectionate, and playful girl with so much love to give. Her absolute favorite thing in the world is playing fetch! If you have a tennis ball, you'll instantly become her best friend! She also loves playing with toys, going on walks, and spending time with her people.

Ideal Home

Ivy would thrive in a family that enjoys being active, playing, and including her in everyday life. She can be a little shy around men when she first meets them, needing a little extra time to feel safe.

Ongoing Health

Ivy is spayed, up to date on all of her vaccinations, and heartworm negative.

Training & Support

Ivy is a smart girl who already knows commands like sit, lay down, come, no, go potty, and go to your kennel. She is potty trained and crate trained and does well with a routine. When she first meets unfamiliar men, she can be a little shy, barking and scooting backward. With patience, kindness, and a few treats, she quickly warms up. Ivy is very food motivated and loves watermelon, cucumbers, apples, ice cubes, and just about any treat.

Ivy is currently being fostered in Houston, Texas, but she is available for adoption and transport to many areas across the country. Her adoption fee includes transport.
