At less than a year old, Sam has already experienced more change than any young dog should. Born into an unwanted litter, Sam spent his early months moving between homes before finally finding his way to us. Despite his uncertain start, he has remained the sweet, gentle soul we know and love. Sam is a hound mix with a quiet, shy personality. He may not be the first dog to run up and greet new people, but with a little patience and kindness, his loving nature quickly begins to shine. Earning Sam's trust is incredibly rewarding, and once he feels safe, he forms strong bonds with the people he loves. Sam gets along well with dogs, cats, children, and adults, making him a wonderful fit for many different families. While new people and unfamiliar situations can make him a little nervous at first, he gains confidence with reassurance and time. More than anything, Sam is looking for the stability he's never had. All pets at Noah's Arc Animal Rescue are spayed/neutered, microchipped, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, current on flea/tick prevention, dewormed, and examined by a veterinarian. Dogs are heartworm tested.
