Juniper

Meet Juniper! Born around February 2022, this playful and happy Great Pyrenees, Australian Cattle Dog mix is as cute as can be with her alert little ears, freckles, and soft coat. She's on the smaller side for her breed mix, weighing in around 50 pounds. Juniper loves to play and run, especially with her doggy friends. She is gentle and cautious with puppies and even adores the bunnies in her foster home, showing them kindness. Juniper is very loving and cuddly once she gets to know you, but she does take some time to warm up to new people, so patience will be key to gaining her trust. Her foster family is working hard to show her that everyone is friendly, but she may always be a bit cautious.

Ideal Home

Juniper would love to have a playful dog buddy in her forever home that can keep up with her energetic play style and doesn't mind her intensity. She would do best in a home with no children or only children over 16, as she needs a patient family to help her gain confidence around new people.

Juniper is spayed and up to date on vaccines.

Training & Support

Juniper is food motivated, a big people pleaser, and responds to commands very well, quickly figuring out what you want her to do. She is great on leash, loves going on car rides, and is fully house-trained. She is also crate-trained but has no need for one. While she needs proper introductions to new adult dogs, once she warms up she does great, but she can be pushy, so a confident canine companion is ideal.

Transporation

Juniper is currently in a foster home in the DFW area, Texas. Out of area adopters are responsible for arranging their own transport.
