Negra

Negra is a charming, approximately 6-year-old, 63-pound female German Shepherd mix. She can be a little shy when you first meet her, but she warms up quickly and is a truly nice girl. Negra comes from a home with five other dogs and is currently kenneled with another dog, showing no reactivity to her canine companions. She is very food motivated, which is a great asset for training! While she was a bit tense with touch near her hind end, she didn't show any negative reactions.

Ideal Home

Negra would do best in a home that can provide her with continued training and patience, especially regarding leash walking. She has shown nervousness with the leash initially, sometimes freezing during walks, but she does walk once she's out. Her history with other dogs suggests she could do well in a multi-dog household, but her comfort level with children is not specified.

Negra is up-to-date on her vaccinations.

Training & Support

Negra needs further training with leash walking, as she can be avoidant of the leash and sometimes freezes during walks. Her food motivation makes her a great candidate for positive reinforcement training methods.
