Stella

Stella is a sweet 2-year-old girl who was found as a stray last September. She was scared and thin but has since blossomed into a playful and affectionate dog with the help of a loving foster home and a doggy friend. Stella can be shy and fearful of new people and situations, especially men, but she is not aggressive. Once she gets to know you, she is a devoted companion. She loves her toys and enjoys lounging and napping, but she also has a playful side and enjoys gentle play with her foster sister.

Ideal Home

Stella would thrive in a quiet home where she can receive plenty of love and attention. A home with another friendly, not-too-energetic dog would be ideal. She has shown no strong prey drive and could potentially live with a cat if introduced slowly and carefully. She would also do well with older children (12 and above). A home environment where she doesn't have to experience car rides frequently would be best, as she is fearful of them.

Ongoing Health

Stella is spayed and vaccinated. She is house-trained.

Training & Support

Stella is fearful of crates and will not go into one. She needs a patient and understanding owner who can help her continue to build confidence in new situations and with new people. She would benefit from ongoing positive reinforcement training to help her overcome her shyness.

Transporation

Stella is currently located in the Bothell/Woodinville area. Transport within Washington State is available. No interstate transports.
