Zoro

My name is Zoro! I'm an adult male American Staffordshire Terrier mix with a heart full of love, just waiting for the right person to share it with. My brother Casper and I came to the shelter through no fault of our own, as our former owner could no longer care for us. At first, I was a little shy around new people, but I quickly learned that the shelter staff are wonderful! Once I feel comfortable, I'm the most charming and affectionate companion you could ask for – I might even end up in your lap for cuddles! My foster mom calls me "Noodle" because I'm so silly and sweet. I'm ready for a fresh start and hope you'll be patient with me as I get to know you.

Ideal Home

I'm looking for an experienced adopter who understands how to help dogs overcome stranger reactivity and can continue my basic socialization. I'd love to live in an adult-only household. I might be able to share my home with a female dog of my size or larger, but no kitties for me, please!

Ongoing Health

I'm a neutered, vaccinated adult dog who has been well cared for.

Training & Support

I'm still working on my socialization and can be reactive towards new people. Patience and a positive reinforcement approach will go a long way in helping me build confidence.
