Hi there! I'm Patty, a sweet, curious, and energetic puppy who would love someone to take me for long walks, cuddle with me, and show me the ropes of a happy life. I can be a little shy and timid when I first meet you, mostly because I'm not sure what's expected in a new situation. But don't worry, I warm up quickly! My foster mom loves my adorable heart-shaped nose and my short little tail. While I'm missing part of my tail, I promise I'm not missing any personality! I came all the way from Texas, and now that it's chilly up here, I especially love to snuggle up in a warm blanket next to my favorite people. I sleep quietly in my kennel at night and am doing a great job with potty training, especially with frequent potty breaks. I'm eager to learn how to be a polite pup and master this leash-walking thing. I absolutely love treats and want to do the right thing, so with a little guidance, I know I'll get there! As a puppy, I enjoy playing with my toys, especially bones and things to chew on. My foster mom throws balls for me, but I often make her go fetch them! She's also working on teaching me not to jump up, which is still a work in progress. I've been around people of all ages, even little ones, and I love everyone! I do get excited and might jump up to say hello and let you know I'm here and would love some attention. I've met a cat, and while I was a little scared at first, we're becoming friends. I've also met some bigger dogs, and I learn a lot from them. I know when they're done playing and will go find a toy instead. I enjoy running and chasing them around the yard, and they seem to enjoy playing with me too. They chase balls, but I'm still trying to figure out the point of that game! I'm hoping to meet someone who can see past my initial shyness and recognize the amazing pup I am. If you can continue to teach me manners, take me on adventures, and give me plenty of cuddles, I promise to return the favor with kisses, love, and endless laughs!
