Oreo is a resilient and loving terrier mix who has overcome significant challenges. He was found surviving on the streets and spent months in a high-kill shelter before being rescued. Now, he's looking for a patient and understanding family to show him what a forever home truly means. Oreo can be initially shy and takes his time warming up to new people and environments. He thrives in a calm setting where he can gradually build trust and feel secure. Once he feels comfortable, his true personality emerges: affectionate, goofy, and incredibly devoted. He loves to snuggle, lean against his favorite people for comfort, and will happily be your loyal shadow. Oreo enjoys accompanying his humans on adventures, from road trips to neighborhood strolls, and is always eager for a cuddle session afterward. He's looking for someone to accept him for who he is, allowing him to move at his own pace, and in return, he'll offer a gentle, devoted companionship and a heart full of love.
