Honey

Honey Comb is a sweet, affectionate, and smart 6-year-old terrier mix weighing 68 lbs. She's the perfect blend of playful energy and chill vibes, always happy to be by your side for cuddles, whether you're watching TV or reading a book. While she adores being close to her humans, she's also independent and content to entertain herself with toys or a chew bone, making her an excellent work-from-home companion. When it's time for fun, she's ready for zoomies, neighborhood walks, car rides, and puzzle toys. Honey Comb loves meeting new people, young and old, and is great with kids. She greets everyone with a big smile, wagging tail, and a signature "stop, drop, and roll" move that clearly asks for belly rubs. She has excellent manners, is respectful of food, and is a joy to live with. Honey Comb is looking for a forever family to share her cuddles, smiles, and unconditional love.

Ideal Home

Honey Comb would thrive in a home where she can spend plenty of quality time with her people. She needs a fenced-in backyard for playing fetch and sunbathing. She prefers a quieter suburban or rural area over a busy city, as she loves nature trails and hikes. A home without other dogs is ideal, as she enjoys being the sole focus of attention. A feline-free home is also recommended.

Ongoing Health

Honey Comb is fully vaccinated, spayed, and microchipped. She has received flea/tick and heartworm prevention, and a health certificate from a licensed veterinarian.

Training & Support

Honey Comb is kennel trained, potty trained, and leash trained. She communicates her need to potty by tapping at the door and has not had an accident in the home, even when left alone for a full workday. She walks well on a leash, especially on quieter nature trails.

• The adoption cost is $350, which includes a $100 adoption fee and a $250 transport fee.

Transportation

Honey Comb is currently in a foster home in Austin, TX. She can be adopted and transported to various locations. Transport is available monthly, and adoptive families will need to meet the transport to pick up their new family member. Dogs are adopted prior to transport, and we cannot bring dogs for meet-and-greets due to transport distances.
