Poe

Poe is a striking double merle Australian Shepherd with a heart as big as his beautiful blue eyes. He was picked up as a stray and, after a close call at a local shelter, was rescued and has been in foster care for six months. During this time, Poe has made wonderful progress and continues to shine. He is patiently waiting for the right family to discover him and give him the forever home he deserves. He lives with three other dogs in his foster home and has learned to share attention, treats, and training time. Poe walks well on a leash, rides perfectly in the car, and enjoys playing fetch. He also engages with doggy puzzles and loves to chew on toys. During his downtime, he simply wants to be near his favorite people and relax.

Ideal Home

Poe would thrive in a home familiar with the Australian Shepherd breed, with a good amount of activity. A female canine companion would be ideal, and he is believed to be good with cats. Poe needs a special kind of home that will offer patience as he builds trust.
