Hello there! I'm Mocha, a darling brindle pup with adorable white markings and a tail tip that curls like a question mark. My foster mom says I'm quite the looker, and honestly, I tend to agree! I'm a true shadow, always wanting to be near my favorite people, whether it's following my foster mom around the house or curling up by her side while she works.
I'm doing a fantastic job with potty training, thanks to my wise foster dog sibling who's shown me the ropes. While I'm still small and need to go out frequently, I haven't had any accidents inside lately, and my foster mom is super proud of how quickly I'm learning. I'm even starting to understand when I need to go out! I am still learning that my kennel is my safe space, and while I'm getting better at settling in each day, it's a work in progress. I do sleep in my kennel at night, though sometimes I get to snuggle with my foster mom for a few hours after my morning potty break – those snuggles are the best!
I already know how to sit and play fetch, and I'm working on "leave it" and walking nicely on a leash. Since I'm still a young pup, I'd benefit from some obedience training to help me channel my smarts and bond with my new family. I absolutely thrive on praise and treats, and I'm eager to learn more!
I haven't met any little humans yet, but I'm sure I'd love them! Just a heads-up, I'm still a bit mouthy, and my puppy teeth are quite sharp. I live with a wonderful 2-year-old female foster dog who I look up to. We have a blast playing together, and I love snuggling with her. I'm a playful and tenacious pup, and I'm learning about boundaries, sometimes being a bit submissive if we get too carried away in play. My favorite games include chasing leaves, playing with my foster sister, and fetching my penguin ball – I'm getting really good at bringing it back! I also love checking in with my foster mom as I explore the yard.
Ideal Home
I'd love to live with an active family who enjoys playing fetch and going for walks, helping me burn off my energy. Since I'm still learning to be crate-trained, a family that is home often and can take me out regularly would be wonderful.
Ongoing Health

Training & Support
I'm working on kennel training and leash walking. I'd benefit from continued positive reinforcement and obedience training. I can be mouthy, which is typical for my age.
