Mochi

Mochi is a sweet 13-week-old Australian Shepherd mix who weighs 12 pounds. She was found wandering near a road and was rescued by a kind volunteer who is fostering her. Mochi is a playful pup who loves her puppy toys and being held. She's learning to potty outside and walk on a leash, and we're confident she'll master these skills with a little more guidance. Mochi has done wonderfully with children and is also friendly with dogs of all sizes and cats. We expect her to be a medium-sized adult dog.

Ideal Home

Mochi would thrive in a home that can provide her with plenty of love and attention. She has done great with children and is friendly with other dogs and cats, making her a great addition to many families.

Ongoing Health

Mochi is spayed and up-to-date on her vaccinations, including rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella. She is microchipped, heartworm negative, and current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.

Training & Support

Mochi is learning to potty outside and walk on a leash. With consistency and positive reinforcement, she will quickly master these new skills. She enjoys training and loves praise!

Mochi is currently in a foster home in Waterford, CT, and can arrive on 7/18. We can transport her to approved adopters.
