Say hello to August! This lovely girl is a Doberman and German Shepherd mix with a heart of gold. She came to us when her family could no longer care for her. August is a friendly girl who does well with people and even aced her spay surgery at the vet! She's about 3 years old and is up-to-date on vaccinations, has been spayed, and is micro-chipped. August is also carrying about 20 pounds of extra weight, so she'll need a home that can help her get moving with plenty of exercise, which will also help her focus her attention.

Ideal Home

August is looking for a home that can provide a secure, fenced yard for her to safely explore. She does not do well with cats or other small critters, and may have trouble differentiating them from smaller dogs, so a home without these companions is essential.

Ongoing Health

August is spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, and micro-chipped. She is also a bit overweight and will benefit from a consistent exercise routine.

Training & Support

August has had some leash training, but she is a strong puller and will need continued work to learn to walk nicely on leash.
