Max

Max is a one-year-old, black Lab mix who has been waiting for his forever home for 465 days. He seems to have had very little socialization, and we believe he may have been kept in isolation for a significant period. This has left him acting like an 8-week-old puppy with no boundaries, despite his big boy body! He is housebroken, loves bath time and playing with toys, and is as playful and energetic as any lab puppy should be. Max is great with other dogs but his history with cats and other animals is unknown. He's a good boy who just needs a chance to learn and grow.

Ideal Home

Max would thrive in a home with a big yard with grass and sunshine.

Max is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Max needs a lot of work to learn boundaries and appropriate behavior. He is energetic and playful, but currently lacks impulse control. Patience and consistent training will be key to helping him succeed.
