Aries is a handsome boy who is new to our shelter! We are still getting to know him, but we can tell he's got a lot of charm. Stay tuned for more updates on this wonderful pup!

Ongoing Health

All dogs at Chicago Animal Care and Control are spayed/neutered and vaccinated before adoption.

Training & Support

We are still learning about Aries's training needs, but we will provide guidance to help him succeed in his new home.

Application Details:

• Applications to adopt Aries start by contacting us through Wags.
• All household members should be present to meet dogs, especially those under 18 and any decision-makers.
• We recommend and can arrange dog-to-dog meet and greets for your current dog(s) to meet a potential dog sibling at the shelter. You will need to show proof of up-to-date rabies vaccination for your dog(s). Slow, cautious, and appropriate introductions are recommended after you allow time for decompression for the shelter dog.

Transporation

Aries is located at Chicago Animal Care and Control at 2741 S. Western Ave., Chicago, IL. Walk-in visitors are welcome and helped on a first-come, first-served basis. If you are planning to adopt the day you visit, please plan to arrive before 5:30pm. Visitors arriving after 5:30pm will still be able to view animals in Pavilions A-B-C until 7pm.
