Meet Moon! Moon is a playful and affectionate pup who was surrendered and initially quite under-socialized. He's come such a long way with the dedicated care of our staff and volunteers, and now he's ready to find his forever home! Moon enjoys his walks and has learned leash skills. He can be a little startled by loud noises, but he recovers quickly with a little reassurance. Moon is a smart boy who knows how to sit for treats and takes them gently. Once he feels comfortable and secure, his playful personality truly shines! He loves chasing squeaky toys and tennis balls, and he's also a fan of chew toys. He's learning to fetch and enjoys a good game of tug-of-war. While he can get a bit jumpy when excited, Moon is learning commands like "down" and "off," and he's getting the hang of sitting to ask for attention. He has blossomed into a loving and friendly dog who will thrive in a home that offers patience and understanding as he continues to gain confidence.

Ideal Home

Moon would do best in a quiet home where he can continue to come out of his shell at his own pace.

Moon is neutered and up to date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Moon is learning basic commands such as "down," "off," and "sit." He can be jumpy when excited and is working on this. He still startles at loud noises but is reassured with gentle guidance.
