Habanero

Hi, my name is Habanero! I was born February 16, 2024, and I'm a sweet German shepherd mix weighing in at 45 pounds. My journey began when my mom was found homeless and pregnant, and thankfully, my foster family took her in. A few days later, I arrived with my seven siblings – we're known as the pepper litter! My mom is a petite 39-pound girl, and we definitely take after her gentle nature. We stayed with our mom until we were about three months old, learning all the important puppy lessons.

We absolutely love getting hugs and shower our humans with tail wags and puppy kisses. Our foster family describes us as calm and easy-going pups. I'm a super sweet girl who enjoys both playtime and snuggle time.

Ideal Home

I would love an active family that enjoys hiking, as I was made for the outdoors! While I haven't been around children, my foster family believes I have the right temperament for them. I also prefer calmer, quieter environments, having been raised in a country-like setting.

Ongoing Health

I am healthy, up to date on all my vaccines, spayed, and microchipped.

Training & Support

I am already house trained and crate trained. I also walk well on a leash and enjoy being out and about. I haven't been cat tested, but some of my littermates are successfully living with cats after their families took the time for proper introductions, so I could likely adjust to a home with cats with patient introductions. I do great with other dogs and would love a canine sibling to play with!
