Meet Rebel – Your Loyal, Laid-Back Shadow with a Watchful Heart
Rebel is a 7-year-old, 65 lb Husky mix with a calm, intelligent, and observant nature. He’s the epitome of a laid-back companion, preferring quiet company and gentle energy. Rebel is house-trained, crate-trained, and doesn't require crating when left alone. He walks beautifully on a leash and enjoys leisurely strolls. While he’s watchful and takes his time to trust, once he bonds, his loyalty is deep and unwavering. Rebel tends to prefer men and may take longer to warm up to women, but with patience, he shows his affectionate side. He is good with other dogs, provided introductions are slow and proper, and also gets along with cats. Rebel’s gentle warning growl is his way of asking for space, and he responds well to clear leadership and respect for his boundaries. He is not a fan of small, energetic pups or overly excitable behavior.
Ideal Home
Rebel would thrive in a calm, quiet home without children. He would do best with a male adopter who can provide confident, gentle leadership. A household with either no pets or a calm dog of similar size would be ideal, as he is good with cats. He needs someone patient, steady, and respectful of his need for personal space and time to build trust. Rebel doesn't require a fence as he is an excellent leash walker and has no tendency to wander.

Training & Support
Rebel is house-trained and crate-trained, though he rarely needs his crate. He is good with other dogs after slow, proper introductions, and gets along with cats. He will issue a low growl to create space, which is his way of communicating his need for distance. Gentle correction and strong leadership help him respect boundaries.
