Butter Bean is a 2.5-year-old, 80 lb male Terrier/Shepherd mix who is ready to find his forever home! He was rescued as a young pup with his siblings from a difficult situation. While his sisters have found their homes, this sweet boy is still waiting. Butter Bean is accustomed to life as a ranch or barn dog, spending his days outdoors and being socialized with livestock, people, other dogs, and children. He's had some limited exposure to cats. Although he hasn't lived indoors full-time, his foster siblings adapted quickly, and he's likely to do the same. Butter Bean is a sturdy, smart, and quiet boy who was the protective older brother to his sisters. He loves receiving pets and affection and is good with kids. He does bark at the donkey when it gets sassy.
