Max is a sweet, approximately 5-month-old pup with an unknown breed mix, though his mom appears to be a small-to-medium-sized dog with possible Australian Cattle Dog, Heeler, Husky, or Thai Ridgeback or Doberman genes. Dad's side is a mystery, but he might be a larger bully mix, potentially a Pit Bull, Rottweiler, or hound. Max was found abandoned as a tiny pup with his siblings and has had a rough start, recently being returned to the rescue after his previous adopters felt overwhelmed. He's a playful pup with lots of energy and gets along well with other dogs and people. While he hasn't been exposed to cats or small children, he would likely do best with an equally energetic family or with slow, proper introductions. Max was doing great with potty training before his return, but he's had some regression in the rescue environment. With consistent potty breaks and a stable home, he should quickly get back on track. Max has been neutered, vaccinated, and is up-to-date on dewormer and heartworm prevention.
Ideal Home
Max is looking for a patient and loving home that can provide him with the time, connection, and stability he deserves. He would likely thrive in a home with an equally energetic family, or one prepared for slow and proper introductions to other pets.
Ongoing Health
Max is neutered and up-to-date on his vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm prevention. He is currently potty training and may have some regression due to his recent return.
Training & Support
Max was previously well-potty-trained but has regressed. Consistent potty breaks in a new home should help him quickly regain his habits. He has a playful puppy energy and would benefit from continued socialization and guidance.
