About Tapper

Tapper is a 2-year-old, 55-pound retriever mix who looks like he's always ready for a dance recital with his white paws. But don't let the fancy footwork fool you – Tapper's true passion is for belly rubs! He's the perfect blend of playful and relaxed, bringing enough energy to make you laugh and then happily flopping over for a good scratch. Tapper is a smart, eager-to-please guy who's already mastering commands like "heel" and "wait." He adores his red ball, loves his walks, and gets along well with other dogs who enjoy a good romp. However, cats are a no-go for Tapper; he finds them suspicious and just doesn't have time for them. He's not a clingy companion but enjoys staying close by, always curious about what you're up to, especially if treats are involved. Tapper doesn't need a high-energy lifestyle or a huge yard. He simply wants to be part of your life, whether you're out for a walk, relaxing on the couch, or sharing snacks. With a comfy spot, a little guidance, and plenty of belly rubs, Tapper will offer you his full measure of goofy, loving devotion.

Tapper would do best in a home without cats. Homes with children 10 years and older are recommended.
