Nova is a 5-6 year old German Shepherd with a heart of gold! She's dog-friendly and kid-friendly, ready to bring joy and adventure into your home. Nova's story is truly remarkable. She was rescued from a freeway median where she had been lying for over a week, incredibly weak and emaciated after being hit by a car. Despite her near-fatal ordeal, Nova is now healthy, healed, and more resilient than ever. She's an incredibly smart girl who already knows how to sit and shake. Nova loves children, enjoys the company of other dogs, and has a fun, talkative personality that will keep you entertained. Like many German Shepherds, she is intelligent, active, and thrives with exercise, structure, and mental stimulation. Nova is looking for a loving and stable family who will cherish her loyalty and playful spirit. After all she's been through, she's more than ready to start her next chapter and leave her past behind.

Ongoing Health

Nova has fully recovered from Anaplasmosis, Giardia, and Coccidia. She also healed from small fractures to her pelvis and femur sustained from being struck by a vehicle.

Training & Support

Nova is an intelligent dog who already knows "sit" and "shake." She will benefit from continued positive reinforcement and activities that engage her mind.
