Wren *Foster Home Needed!*

Wren is a 9-year-old, 35 lb female who has faced a lot of challenges in her life. She was adopted as a puppy and lived with another dog. Wren has had two ACL surgeries, one on each leg, and more recently developed optic neuritis, which has caused her to become blind. Her blindness has made her more reactive, and her previous owners felt it was unsafe to keep her with a new baby in the home. We are looking for a special foster or adoptive home for this sweet girl.

Ideal Home

Wren would thrive in a home that understands dog vulnerability and reactivity. Due to her blindness and reactivity, it is recommended that she not be placed in a home with other dogs or children.

Ongoing Health

Wren is blind due to optic neuritis. She has also undergone two ACL surgeries in the past. She is fully vetted, spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and on preventatives.

Training & Support

Wren can be reactive and aggressive, especially due to her blindness. A patient and experienced owner who can provide a calm and predictable environment will be key to her success.
