Abby

Meet Abby! This sweet 4-year-old Staffordshire Terrier/American Bully mix is about 64lbs of pure love and ready to find her forever home. Abby has a calm and gentle soul, but don't let that fool you – she still has plenty of playful energy! She enjoys spending time with her foster sister, meeting new dogs with a happy wag and a smile, and is great at reading other dogs' body language. While she can be a little jealous at times, she's overall respectful and easygoing. She's fully potty trained, crate trained, and even puts herself to bed each night. Abby is a professional cuddle bug who firmly believes she's a lap dog, despite her size, and loves being close to her people. She's independent, curious, smart, loyal, and wonderfully calm. Thunderstorms can be a bit scary for her, so she'll seek out a quiet, safe spot until they pass.

Ideal Home

Abby would be a wonderful companion for a family looking for a loyal and loving dog. We don't have history with cats or young children, so a home with older, dog-savvy kids (10+) would be best.

Ongoing Health

Abby is spayed, fully vaccinated, and up-to-date on her monthly preventatives.

Training & Support

Abby is fully potty trained, crate trained, and settles beautifully when left alone. She hasn't shown any signs of resource guarding or food aggression.

Transporation

Abby is currently located with a foster. Transports run every few weeks and we will have the dog on the next available transport once approved. If you are not able to accept a dog until a specific time period, please apply at that time.
