Pixie

Pixie is a sweet 3-year-old Chihuahua who came to us as an owner surrender. She's a bit shy at first and needs a patient family who will give her the time and space she needs to feel safe. Pixie is fearful of new people and may nip out of fear when overwhelmed. However, once she learns to trust you, she becomes your devoted shadow and wants to be by your side. Pixie just needs someone willing to see past her fear and give her the love, patience, and security she deserves.

Ideal Home

Pixie would do best in a home with no young children, where someone is home most of the day. A fenced yard and a calm environment where she can decompress at her own pace are important for her to thrive. She does great with other dogs, though bigger dogs over about 50 pounds can intimidate her. She is also good with cats.

Ongoing Health

Pixie is spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Pixie is house-trained. She may nip out of fear when overwhelmed by new people, so continued patience and positive reinforcement will be key to helping her build confidence.
