Oreo

Oreo is a one-year-old mystery mix who is ready to find his forever family. Whether you are looking for a car-ride companion or a professional snuggler, Oreo is your guy! He's a sturdy, medium-large boy, weighing in at 55-60 lbs. His DNA shows a unique blend of American Staffordshire Terrier, Australian Cattle Dog, and American Pit Bull Terrier, with a dash of other breeds – he’s truly one of a kind!

Oreo had a rough start, abandoned as a puppy, but he hasn't let it dampen his sweet nature. He's a social butterfly who is a natural in the car and a gentleman with people and other dogs. He has "zoomie" spurts but is surprisingly low-maintenance, happy to relax after a walk. He recently spent an afternoon in a home and was a perfect guest, showing signs of understanding that potty time happens outside. Oreo is fascinated by the television, and it took him a second to figure out what a couch was for, but once he did, he became a world-class cuddler! He also has a hilarious habit of putting his front paws in his water bowl while he drinks.

Ideal Home

Oreo gets along great with other dogs and is very sweet-natured. Because he is still a young, bouncy boy who likes to jump up to say "hello," we recommend a home with children ages 10 and up. He hasn't met a cat yet, but we are happy to test him with feline friends upon request.

Ongoing Health

Oreo is fully vetted and ready to settle into your heart! His adoption includes a comprehensive health package:

• Neutered, microchipped, and current on all vaccinations (Rabies, DHLPP, and Bordetella).
• Recently dewormed and consistently maintained on monthly flea, tick, and heartworm prevention.
• Within 10 days of his trip to you, Oreo will receive a fresh health certificate exam and a fecal exam.

Training & Support

Oreo is a perfect guest indoors and shows signs of understanding house training. He's a world-class cuddler and a TV enthusiast. His only quirk is his unique way of drinking water, which is perfect for anyone who appreciates a dog with a sense of humor.
