FREYA

FREYA is a wonderfully active and affectionate dog who found herself on the streets of Mexico while pregnant. Thankfully, a kind rescuer provided her with shelter until she safely delivered her seven puppies. After ensuring her babies were cared for and ready for adoption, Freya and her pups made their way to Sunny Oasis Rescue. Now that her puppies have found their forever homes, it's Freya's turn to find her own special family! She absolutely loves to go for walks, hikes, and runs. Freya has also been around horses and shows them respect, but she does have a tendency to try and herd the goats and piggies, which can be a bit much for them!

Ideal Home

Freya would thrive in a home where she can get plenty of exercise and adventures. While she is respectful of horses, her herding instincts with smaller farm animals like goats and pigs might be a bit overwhelming for them.

Ongoing Health

Freya has been spayed, micro-chipped, and is up to date on all her vaccinations, including rabies.

Training & Support

Freya's energetic nature means she'd benefit from continued training and enrichment to channel her enthusiasm positively.

Application Details:

• Applications to adopt Freya begin by contacting us through Wags.
• We do not hold dogs without an approved application.
• Once an application is approved, we will set up a Meet and Greet at our facility. This is a great opportunity for you to meet Freya, and for her to meet any other dogs in your household.
• Freya's adoption fee is $250.00.
