Montana

Montana is a beautiful young adult, approximately 2 years old, who was found as a stray and never claimed. She's a friendly and good-natured girl who gets along well with other dogs, cats, and children. Montana is a graduate of the Paws in Prison program, where she lived with inmate trainers for 8 weeks and worked with a certified dog trainer. She learned a variety of commands, including sit, down, stand, focus, wait, release stay, front/side heel sit, come, leave it, easy, kennel, roll over, and play dead!

Ideal Home

Montana is a high-energy dog. While she's good with other dogs, she sometimes misses their cues when they've had enough play or interaction.

Ongoing Health

Montana is spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, microchipped, and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.

Training & Support

Montana knows many commands but can be a bit independent and may ignore them. She also needs to work on her leash manners.

Transporation

Montana is located in Arkansas. She can be adopted locally, and transport is available to the New England area. Adopters must be able to pick up or arrange for someone to pick up for them in PA, NJ, or CT on Saturdays.
