PRINCESS (Bleeding Heart Society)

Princess is a lovey-dovey girl who will warm both your heart and soul. She is about 4 years old and weighs around 65 lbs. Despite her past, which may have involved backyard breeding or being discarded as a street dog, Princess shines her light. She was found wandering the grounds at an elementary school, leading Animal Control to be called due to concerns about a loose pitbull. Princess is a sweet and affectionate soul who is gentle, smart, and aware. She knows commands like SIT, STAY, and DOWN, and is curious about her people. While she can be protective, she is amiable to just about anything and easy to please, not being much of a barker. Princess is house-trained and crate-trained, keeping her kennel clean. She has no storm anxiety, separation anxiety, or behavioral issues, having remained unphased through hurricanes and tornados. She walks well on a leash and is well-mannered in the car. Princess enjoys food and treats but isn't overly food-driven, and her prey drive is suspected to be normal. She is friendly towards people and other dogs, and while she hasn't been around children, her sweet demeanor suggests she would blend in well.

Ideal Home

Princess would thrive in a home where she is made to feel special and like the princess she is. Her ideal home would include someone willing to gently guide her as she transitions into her forever family and helps her adjust to a stable home environment.
