Happy

Happy is a 4-year-old Weimaraner/Lab mix who embodies pure joy! Despite a recent rough patch, he greets each day with a huge grin, a wagging tail, and infectious enthusiasm. Happy loves people, enjoys his outdoor adventures, and keeps a tidy kennel. He's a very smart boy, but he is SUPER strong on leash and will need a patient and dedicated person to help him polish his walking manners. His zest for life is truly impossible not to love! We were told Happy can be selective with other dogs, and we're hopeful that once he's neutered, he may become more open to canine friendships. We haven't tested him with cats yet. Happy is also recovering from severe flea dermatitis and is still growing back some of his fur. With time, love, and proper care, he'll be looking and feeling his best.

Ideal Home

Happy would thrive in a home with someone who can provide consistent training and positive reinforcement for his leash walking skills. We are still assessing his compatibility with cats.

Ongoing Health

Happy is recovering from severe flea dermatitis and is regrowing some of his fur. He is neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and up-to-date on vaccines and monthly prevention. He weighs about 85 lbs.

Training & Support

Happy is super strong on leash and will need help polishing his walking manners. We are also hopeful that after neutering, he will be more open to making canine friends.
