Meet Sage!
Sage is a spirited five-year-old German Shepherd, Siberian Husky, and American Pitbull Terrier mix. She's a loyal, medium-sized companion at 44 pounds who thrives on connection, cuddles, and adventure! Sage is a great communicator, whether she’s ready for a walk, asking for a tummy rub, or signaling it’s mealtime, she knows how to make herself understood with heart-melting charm. She’s incredibly smart and has already mastered sit, down, and up, eager to show off her skills to win a smile (or a treat!). Her days are happiest when they include plenty of sniff-filled strolls, playful bone-hiding missions, and time curled up close to her people. Sage is house-trained, non-destructive, and generally calm when left alone—though she’ll be happiest with someone who’s around often, as she experiences mild separation anxiety and much prefers a cozy bed to a crate. She absolutely lights up around young children and has a gentle, affectionate nature that makes her a fantastic playmate! Sage's essence is a glowing blend of intelligence, affection, and playful charm wrapped in a tan coat with white accents and striking dark facial markings.
Ideal Home
Sage would thrive in a home with a fenced yard and plenty of time to share with her people. She'd do best in a feline-free environment.

Training & Support
Sage experiences mild separation anxiety and prefers a cozy bed to a crate. She can be selective with other dogs, sometimes exhibiting leash reactivity with high-energy or intense dog encounters. A calm, dog-savvy guardian is recommended, or a home where she can be the only pet. We're including a month of professional behavioral support to help Sage settle into her next chapter.
