Riggs is a handsome 4+ year old Boxer mix who is as intelligent as he is affectionate! He has been patiently waiting for his forever family, and we've been working hard to help him shine. Riggs has completed a Board & Train program, and his trainer is committed to supporting his new family with complimentary training classes and post-adoption guidance to ensure a smooth transition.
Riggs is a 55 lb, medium-sized boy who is obedient and athletic. He walks beautifully on a leash, staying right by his handler's side without pulling, showing off his eagerness to please. In calm environments, Riggs is incredibly responsive to commands, highlighting the importance of a structured and supportive home. He is neutered, house-trained, microchipped, and up-to-date on all his core vaccinations.
Ideal Home
Riggs would be a wonderful companion for a single adult or a couple who embrace an active lifestyle filled with regular walks and hikes. He would thrive in a detached home with direct access to a fully fenced yard, preferably in a quiet neighborhood or a country setting. Riggs needs a home with structure and routine, and he can become anxious around new people, so a home with few visitors would be ideal. He cannot live with small children, cats, small dogs, or other small pets.

Riggs is neutered, microchipped, and has all his core vaccinations. He is house-trained.
