My name is Kristoph! I'm a big, handsome boy who was rescued from a difficult situation back in 2018. I was thought to be about three years old then, and while I'm still a bit reserved, I've learned to trust the ladies here and even some of the gentlemen with a little time, patience, and plenty of biscuits for introductions. I enjoy my walks now that I know my walking companions! I love being outdoors, watching the world go by, and keeping a close eye on things.

Ideal Home

I need a home with a tall, secure fence (at least 6 feet high) to keep me safe. I do best in a calm household where I can enjoy my meals in peace, as my food is very important to me! I'm not the best fit for homes with lots of visitors or deliveries, and I'm not sure how I'd do with other pets. I do best with confident adult owners who have experience with dogs who have a protective nature like mine.

I'm a healthy boy with no known health issues.

Training & Support

I'm very protective and take my guardian role seriously, which means I can be vocal when I see or hear things outside. I need owners who understand this aspect of my breed and can help me manage my guardian instincts.
