Oakley is a handsome 68lb Terrier/Pitbull mix with an estimated birthday of 12/16/2021. He's a super sweet boy who loves to be by your side, following you from room to room like a loyal shadow. Oakley is a very smart and independent dog, already knowing "sit" and "get on your bed." His favorite activity is going for walks, and he's a pro at leash manners, though he sometimes needs a reminder to "slow down." While Oakley tolerates other dogs, he would likely be happiest as the only canine in the home. He does have a strong prey drive and enjoys chasing cats and squirrels. Oakley's sweet nature is even more remarkable considering his past; he was found as a stray, emaciated, with a severely injured ear. He's fully vaccinated, microchipped, neutered, and potty trained, ready to offer the sweetest greetings and tail wags to his forever family.

Transporation
Oakley is located in Houston, TX. Transport is available out of state. We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas to your state or a neighboring state. These are ground transports using third party vehicles (vans/buses) converted for dog transport. Each adopter has the ability to track the van using the app Life360, and receives updates from transport along the way. Facebook chats are another resource to stay informed on tracking dogs on transport. Please be able to use one of these available services if you wish to follow your adopted dog on transport.
