Meet Thomas, a charming and goofy 3-year-old Pittie and retriever mix who is all about the love! This 68-pound bundle of joy is a people-focused dog with an amazing zest for life. Thomas is incredibly gentle and affectionate, showering his humans with kisses and cuddles, and he firmly believes he's a lap dog, regardless of his size. He's fantastic with children aged 3 to 13 and would also make a wonderful office companion, happy to lounge by your side. Thomas is a fetch superstar and enjoys a good game of tug-of-war, making him the perfect partner for an active family. He's also smart, treat-motivated, and knows several commands, including "sit," "down," "leave it," and of course, "fetch." He's well-trained, crate-trained, and even gentle lead trained for enjoyable walks.
Ideal Home
Thomas would thrive in a home with a fenced backyard where he can zoom and play. He's a great companion for adventurous outings like hiking and camping but also loves to snuggle up at the end of the day. He is best suited for a home without cats, as he can be a little too interested in them.
Ongoing Health
Thomas is up-to-date on all his vetting, including vaccinations, deworming, flea and heartworm prevention, and has been spayed/neutered. He comes with a health certificate deeming him healthy for travel.
Training & Support
Thomas has excellent house manners, is house-trained, and gentle when taking treats, making training a breeze. He's fully crate-trained but would love to sleep in bed with you if allowed. His foster family provides him with enrichment toys like a Kong in his crate.

Thomas is currently in Texas. We offer transport services across the US to WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, and Canada (Canadian adopters must pick up in Bellingham, WA or Brattleboro, VT).
