Misty

Meet Misty! She's a delightful 2-year-old, 55-pound Great Pyrenees mix with a heart as soft as her fluffy coat. Misty is a bit on the shy side at first, but once she warms up to you, she's all about sweetness and companionship. She's a great coexist-er with cats and makes friends with other dogs easily. Misty would do best with children who are past the toddler years.

Ideal Home

Misty needs a home with a fenced yard, which is a non-negotiable requirement. She'll thrive in a family that appreciates quiet companionship and understands that sometimes the gentlest souls are the most rewarding. A cozy spot on the sofa for naps would be a wonderful bonus!

Ongoing Health

Misty has a mildly collapsing trachea. While this sounds concerning, it simply means she cannot wear a collar with a leash. A chest-type harness is required for her safety and comfort throughout her life. With the correct harness, this condition is not an issue, aside from an occasional cough if the harness isn't fitted quite right.

Training & Support

Misty is a well-behaved girl who coexists politely with other animals. Her main need is patience and kindness as she adjusts to her new surroundings.
