Meet Journey, a 3-year-old, 50-pound German Shepherd mix girl with a heart full of loyalty and a spirit ready for adventure! Journey has been on quite a journey to find her forever home. She was a beloved companion to her first young owner, bringing joy and helping him through his teenage years. When life circumstances changed, and his new housing didn't allow dogs, he made the difficult decision to find Journey a better future. She was welcomed into a loving foster home through Critter Cavalry Rescue and given a fresh start.

Journey is a smart, obedient, and affectionate girl who thrives when she's part of your activities. She enjoys hiking, playing fetch, accompanying you on errands, and helping around the house. She greets everyone with enthusiasm, and her friendly nature extends to adults, children, other dogs, and even cats. Journey has a wonderful "off switch" – after an initial burst of playful energy, she's content to relax by your side, making her the perfect co-pilot for both excitement and quiet moments. Her greatest gift is her unwavering devotion; she bonds deeply and will be your loyal shadow.

Journey has been spayed, microchipped, and is fully vaccinated. She is up-to-date on heartworm prevention and is currently heartworm negative.

Journey is described as obedient and well-mannered. She is eager to please and ready to continue learning in her forever home.
