24-085 Daphne

Meet Daphne! This sweet girl is a young Great Pyrenees mix who, along with her siblings Flint and Wilma, found herself in our care after being abandoned. Daphne is just discovering the joy of toys and loves to rummage through the toy box for a good playtime. While she can be a little shy at first, she's blossomed beautifully in her foster home and has made great progress. She shares her foster home with three other dogs and a fellow foster friend, Biscuit, who is also looking for a home.

Ideal Home

Daphne would thrive in a home where she can continue to gain confidence. She is working on her crate training and isn't a big fan of the crate, but she's not destructive, so it might not be a necessity for her. A securely fenced yard is a must.

Ongoing Health

Daphne has been spayed, tested for heartworm, and is up-to-date on all her vaccinations.

Training & Support

Daphne's foster family is working with her on leash and crate training. As she's still warming up to new experiences, continued patience and positive reinforcement will be key to her success.

• All adults in the household must provide consent for adoption.
• Renters must provide proof of pet deposit and a lease allowing pets.
• A willingness and capacity to provide necessary training, medical care, and responsible ownership is required.
• The yard must be free of poisonous plants.

Transporation

Daphne is located in Dallas and can only be adopted to Dallas and surrounding areas due to the required home visit.
