Hi! My name is Garrita and I’m a puppy about 4 months old.

I was abandoned on the side of the road inside a flour bag, covered in ticks. Thankfully, all the ticks were removed, but my tests showed that I was positive for anaplasma, so I received treatment to help me recover. And as if that wasn’t enough, I also got parvovirus. I survived thanks to the care of my foster home, where they gave me fluids every single day to keep me properly hydrated. I’ve already been neutered too.

Because of everything I went through, it took a little longer for me to be ready for adoption, but finally, I’m healthy and ready to become part of a family.

I’m a very active and playful boy. Sometimes I can be a little annoying with the other dogs I live with because I play a bit rough, whether they’re my size or much bigger than me.

I’ve become the best big brother to some younger rescued puppies, except when food is involved. In those moments, I always try to steal kibble right out of anyone’s mouth if they let me, which is something common in dogs who were abandoned.

I would probably love going on walks, exploring the world, and sharing lots of exciting adventures with my future family.
