Cedarwood is known for being durable and resistant to adverse conditions. Our sweet, sensitive Cedar lives up to his name - he’s a resilient boy who has proven himself to be a survivor! In early 2025, Cedar was surrendered to the shelter with his five littermates, and all were very sick. Thankfully, Cedar recovered and was adopted, only to find himself back in the shelter once again. He’s understandably cautious and needs a special family to show him stability and help him build confidence. Cedar spent about a month in a foster home where he was quiet, well-behaved when left home alone, and enjoyed stuffed animals and hard chew toys. He was described as a reserved pup who was cautious around kiddos and did well with other dogs. He was also crate trained. He showed that he’ll need time, patience and love to feel safe - but boy is he worth all of that and more! Cedar shares his kennel with another PACC pup and has been social and tolerant when meeting other dogs in playgroup. If you can help a shy pup learn that the world is a safe place, please ask to meet Cedar today!
