Olivia

Meet Olivia! Olivia joined us after being found as a stray, and heartbreakingly separated from her bonded companion. Despite that loss and all she's been through, Olivia remains a deeply devoted, loving little girl who simply wants to be near her person.

Approximately 10 years young and weighing just under 10 pounds, Olivia is the definition of a velcro dog. She will happily follow you from room to room and is most content curled up beside you. She sleeps much of the day and truly thrives on companionship. She bonds deeply and wants to be part of your daily life. She is potty trained to go outside and is an easy, low-maintenance companion. She gets along well with other dogs her size and with a similar calm energy. Olivia is not crate trained and becomes extremely distressed if crated. However, she does well when safely confined to a room or indoor kennel space when needed.

Ideal Home

Olivia would do best in a home where someone is around most of the time, and because of her calm nature and desire for a peaceful environment, Olivia would do best in a home without small children.

Ongoing Health

Olivia has recently had mammary tumor removal surgery, a full dental, and has been spayed. She is recovering beautifully and has no mobility issues. She does have some cloudiness in her eyes, but it does not appear to impact her vision at this time.

Training & Support

While she is potty trained to go outside, Olivia is reactive to unfamiliar dogs when on leash. With proper management and awareness, this is very manageable. She is not crate trained and becomes extremely distressed if crated.
