Meet Abby! This sweet and gentle 4-year-old Staffordshire Terrier/American Bully mix is a real gem, weighing in at 64lbs. She's spayed, fully vaccinated, and up-to-date on all her preventatives, making her ready to shower a loving family with affection. Abby has a calm demeanor with just the right amount of playful spirit. She enjoys the company of other dogs and is excellent at reading their cues, greeting them with a happy wag and a big smile. While she can be a little possessive of her humans at times, she's generally easygoing and would be content as an only dog or with a well-matched canine friend. She also gets the cutest zoomies, reminding everyone of her fun-loving side!
Ideal Home
Abby would thrive in a home where she can be close to her people, as she considers herself a lap dog! While she's generally good with other dogs, she would do best in a home with older, dog-savvy children (10+) as we don't have a history of her with younger kids or cats.
Ongoing Health
Abby is in great health, spayed, fully vaccinated, and current on monthly preventatives. Thunderstorms can be a bit frightening for her, and she'll seek out a quiet, safe space when they occur.
Training & Support
Abby is a superstar when it comes to training! She is fully potty trained, crate trained, and even happily settles herself in her crate for bedtime. She's comfortable being crated when left alone and does wonderfully. She hasn't shown any signs of resource guarding or food aggression. She enjoys leisurely walks and handles stairs like a pro. While she tolerates car rides, it's not her favorite activity.
